Three hours. Forty children. One record you can stand behind.
This is what KINLOCK writes down during a normal Sunday at a mid-sized church: every check-in, every room change, every release, and who did it. The names below are examples.
- Doors open. Six leaders signed in across four rooms.
- Lily M. checked in to Grade R by Sarah N. Band 04-118 linked to her session.
- 38 children checked in. The kids' pastor sees the live count on her phone.
- Band 04-131 reported lost. Voided and replaced, so the old band can't be used.
- Lily found in Hall B. A leader taps her band, sees her room and allergy, and walks her back.
- Pickup refused: Ethan's uncle isn't on his approved list. Parent called.
- Lily released to Thandi M., her mother. ID, permission and photo checked by Sarah N.
- Last child released. Nobody unaccounted for.
Before Sunday
Families register once, using a link from their church. A children's ministry admin approves each registration and the photos that come with it.
On the day
Check in
At the kiosk or with a Scout, staff scan the parent's KINLOCK ID, choose the children and tap a band onto each one.
During the service
Leaders see their room list live. Tapping any band shows who the child is and where they belong.
If something goes wrong
Lost bands are voided. Concerns become alerts. An emergency roll call checks every room at once.
Release
Tap the band, scan the collector's ID. KINLOCK confirms permission, staff compare photos, then confirm the handover.
Afterwards
Every event is in the audit log with a time and a name: who checked a child in, who scanned them, who released them and to whom. Admins can read the log but can't edit it.
See it with your own rooms in mind
We'll walk through a Sunday at your church in a 30-minute call.
